Charles Odonkor has an extensive banking experience spanning over 30 years with 20 years at senior management level. In Ghana, Mr. Odonkor worked with Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), Metropolitan and Allied Bank (formerly UT Bank) and United Bank for Africa (UBA). He was a founding member of the team who set up Metropolitan and Allied and UBA Ghana Ltd. Externally, he worked with GCB London Office including Citi Bank and NatWest Bank both in the United Kingdom. Mr. Odonkor has great experience in establishing start-ups and effectively managing the business. He is an Alumnus of Central University College and holds a qualification in ACIB, UK.
Frederick KumasseyCHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Mr. Frederick Kumassey has 40 years working experience with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). He rose through the ranks of the company and retired in the year 2019 as Acting Director of Technical Production, a position he held since 2016. Prior to this position, he was the Deputy Director of Technical Production for 4 years where he played a major role in the formulation and implementation of technical policies of the national broadcaster and successfully took over the mantle of leadership in the technical department at the national level any time the substantive was on leave or on official duties outside the country. Currently, Mr. Kumassey heads the technical department at SatAfrik. From his vast and rich expertise, he supervises and oversees the quality of all productions that go out on satellite. He also ensures that all safety and environmental measures of equipment are adhered to.
Joseph Kwesi MbirCHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICE
Joseph Kwesi Mbir has over 15 years of practical entrepreneurial experience as a savvy media person with great understanding of technical and media terrain. His creative and innovative thinking bring to home outstanding entertainment, cultural, insightful and educational programs. He worked as a CEO, doubling as Business Development Executive for IT Media Concepts, producers of Info Tech TV on TV3 and ICT world on CHOICE FM. These two programmes are part of the pioneer IT education programmes on Radio and TV in Ghana. He is wide-read, and had his industrial satellite training in Israel. Mr. Mbir’s technical acumen is best demonstrated in the areas of satellite television/radio engineering networking, uplink services, installation, camera works and editing, just to mention a few. In fact, he is totally determined to bring innovative and transformational thinking to bear in the execution of satellite television/radio services to have a positive effect on viewers across Africa particularly the youth.
